Job description

  • Meet assigned sales target by implementation and monitoring of channel specific sales strategy
  • Analyse sales performance by channel and store
  • Identify gaps and opportunities, set targets and track results
  • Performance management of sales staff
  • Daily store visits
  • Understand channel and store dynamics and actively seek store level tactics to drive sales
  • Key account management
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with key account pharmacies and wholesalers
  • Work in close collaboration with category managers in order to develop field support tools
  • Implementation, tracking and close-out of promotions
  • Identify business opportunities and align with the division’s strategy
  • This position requires extensive travel within the designated area


  • Matric certificate with relevant sales qualification
  • Three years’ experience in sales/retail environment. Pharmacy sales experience will be advantageous
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail and a pro-active thinker
