A dynamic multinational IT services and support company in Cape Town is looking for a midrange desktop support to join their team. Drivers licence and reliable vehicle is required; you will be required to go onsite to clients. A minimum of two to four years' Windows desktop support experience.
Liaising with staff and clients.
Installing client infrastructure.
Resolve technical issues.
Technical implementation and documentation.
Technology research and development.
Minimum of a matric education, with a technical certification (i.e. MCP, MCITP).
Drivers licence and reliable vehicle is required; technician will be required to go onsite to clients.
Work experience and skills:
Minimum of two to four years' Windows desktop support experience.
Good customer relationship skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills is prerequisite.
Ability to be polite but firm when dealing with difficult, impatient, or upset people.
Self–motivated, honest, and reliable, with a strong sense of accountability.
Be able to work both independently as well as part of a team.
Neat, self-organised, well-spoken and well-presented.
Good problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and dedicated to work in the organisation.
