Tertiary education and at least five years' related experience in SQCD improvement
MS Office proficiency
Proven experience in ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001, OHS and COID
Experience in theory of constraints and world-class manufacturing principles will be to your advantage

Relationship management skills and experience in facilitation, as well as problem-solving, is a must
Excellent communication skills and fluency in Afrikaans and English (read, write and speak)

Knowledge of the SHEQ discipline
Manage, maintain and improve the group integrated quality, environmental and health and safety management system - ISI9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and externally audited standards.
Lead the drive for continual improvement of these standards throughout the Moorreesburg factory.
Determines the operational direction and work priorities (in conjunction with line management) for the continuous improvement of the factory SHEQ management programme and systems.
Advises line management and assists with the implementation of new or existing SHEQ-related legislation, rules and company standards.
To complete prevention inspections and internal audits of the IMS systems on a regular basis and ensure records maintained of same.
To assist in retaining all current quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of quality accreditations.
Investigate accidents, incidents, non-conformances, causes of ill-health and complaints.
Inspect workplaces to enforce safety and environmental laws.
Examine ways to improve health, safety and environmental standards.
Negotiate with managers and employees regarding the provision of a safe working environment.
Assist in the development of health, safety and environmental programmes and strategies.
