German Speaking Customer Service Coordinator

Our client, a fireplace manufacturer seeks to recruit a German speaking customer service coordinator. The right candidate will work for a global company and be responsible for ensuring good customer service by attending to customer complaints and to ensure customer satisfaction. Take ownership to catapult the company to next level by meeting the challenge using you experience and knowledge.

Key duties: 
  • Providing help and advice to customers using your organisation’s products or service
  • Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, e-mail, letter or face to face
  • Investigating and solving customer’s problems
  • Improving customer service procedures, policies and standards for your organisation
  • Meeting with other managers to discuss possible improvements to customer service
  • Producing written information for customers and statistical information to management for product and service complaints
  • Management of technical staff, workshop staff and resources and spare parts stock
  • Give reference numbers when applicable
  • Assist with stock availability towards customers for sales and warranty claims
  • Create waybills and send waybill numbers to customers via mail
  • Schedule calls a week in advance if possible and inform customers upfront
  • Manage technician doing repairs and technician going out to service customers
  • Data capturing and filing of documents and reports
  • Recruit recommended installers and appropriate suppliers
  • Follow-up and courtesy calls to customers from master log
Qualifications and experience:
  • Matric
  • Two to three years of working experience in customer service
Key competencies: 
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Germany
  • Additional languages such as French, Spanish is a preference
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office package
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Energetic, positive and self-starter kind of person
