Our client, a international company specialised in providing customer relationship management excellence within a face-to-face environment, wishes to employ an Deputy Zone Manager for their Visa- Processing offices throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, based in Pretoria (Menlyn). The company is part of a worldwide leading group providing exceptional customer experience, with a presence in more than 104 countries with more than 430 centers in the world. They offer their clients an end-to-end solution, starting with information provision across multiple media platforms, to the direct face-to-face contact experience and back office tasks.

Reporting to Zone Manager, the Deputy Zone Manager will be in charge of:
  • Acting as a direct representative for the Senior Zone Manager in various assignments
  • Extensive travel in Sub-Saharan Africa to various sites (31), up to 2 weeks per month
  • Visiting clients (Consults/ Embassy authorities/ High Commissioners) to negotiate contracts/ SLAs etc. locally and internationally
  • Strategic planning for successful growth of the business
  • Clear visibility of all happenings in the Zone
  • Directly leading, developing, motivating, coaching, managing and organizing teams of all subordinates
  • The provision of statistical and analytical insights on entire zone to help shape and drive success in the business
  • Maximizing productive efficiency within the company and collation of the current delivery and reporting processes on a regional basis
  • Ensuring that Zone is compliant with all SLA’s and in line with Zone’s legal legislature
  • Responsible for new client tenders and bids
  • Creating of budget and adhering to it
  • Ensuring profit targets are met or exceeded
  • Be responsible for generating new business growth and managing existing client accounts
  • Be able to demonstrate the successful acquisition of new business in a multicultural and international environment
  • Bring transferable skills that will enhance the performance of the sales team as a whole
  • Ensuring that sales reports and market intelligence are used to their fullest effect in creating bid documents and internal reports for the strategic development of the company
  • Maintain databases of market information, including data relating to sales, customers and competitors
  • Provide analysis, quantitative and qualitative support to evaluate existing and potential product and service markets
  • Prepare regular business and market reports using company and external data and be able to fully explain trends to executive managementable to adapt to the changing needs of the business
Qualification and experience
  • Postgraduate Degree in Management and legal background advantageous
  • More than five years' working experience in customer service industry, including minimum of two years in a management role

  • Excellent command in English (verbal and written), French / German language skills adv.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
