Job description

A well-established organisation in the Cape Town CBD is seeking a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist to join their team. Working in the Marketing department, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing the data and analytics required for the retention of an established customer base and for continuously reaching out to new customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Constantly examine and monitor the company’s communication practices with existing customers, helping ensure that relationship management indicators are as high as possible
  • Analyse market trends to gain greatest leverage from customer life cycle touchpoints
  • Analyse data to find ways to attract new customers, as well as assist in the rollout of such measures
  • Find meaningful patterns in different types of data and be able to use this data effectively in targeting customers
  • Be first point of contact for user enquiries
  • Continue to train and mentor users of the CRM system
  • Set up and monitor user access and security rights


Experience, qualifications and personal attributes:
  • Three to five years’ CRM experience
  • Tertiary qualification in data / science / commerce will be advantageous
  • Adept at Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Ability to learn new technology applications quickly
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter and commitment to timeous and accurate completion of work items
  • Ability to multi-task, plan and manage time against work output
