We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join a growing team in a fast paced startup. This opportunity will have you doing design and branding social media for several brands of various business models, be creative daily and see your work published and enjoyed by tens of thousands.
Responsible for providing support to his/her assigned clients and projects.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Internet research, copy writing and editing
General office and client support
Please note: the selected applicant will be hired with a six to 12-week evaluation period.

Excellent skills and expertise in Design and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and in-Design)
Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in design and six to 12 months full-time office experience
Knowledge of current events, use of social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently
Proactively contribute ideas to projects
Regularly make recommendations to project lead on how to improve a project
Work on project to effectively complete scope of work so that it is top quality but also within
Consistently demonstrate ability to successfully move into problem-solving mode whenever challenges or concerns arise
Compile media and content for clients and regularly identify opportunities for clients to strengthen their position by responding to select clips
Coordinate media logistics, proactively thinking through all pieces of content and taking first pass at presenting
Make successful sales calls and look to develop new business opportunities
Communication and process
Craft client communications that, with minimal edits by account lead, can be forwarded to client
Create PowerPoint presentations, assist in creating presentations
Create social media content that demonstrates a solid understanding of the medium as well as understanding of the client’s issue and how it is to be positioned in the media
Consistently meet project deadlines
The applicant must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while working to instill a positive work environment
A successful applicant shows proficiency in completing activities
Ideally, the applicant lives in the Stellenbosch, Somerset West or Paarl areas
