An opportunity for a junior graphic designer exists within our editorial department of Annecat Print and Publishers portfolio of angling magazines and media offerings. The core focus of this role will be to conceptualise and execute the visual aspects of editorial content, in print and digitally, including adverts or print media on behalf of clients to specific briefs, all within strict deadlines.
An excellent understanding of digital and lithographic print processes and the ability to generate print ready artwork.
Proven technical proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite CC – InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, Acrobat and Illustrator CC.
Strong typographical and layout design skills and interest in print design trends.
Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
Diploma or equivalent in Graphic Design
Strong attention to detail on all levels of design, planning, content creation and execution.
Ability to work under pressure, within deadlines, at sometimes-unconventional hours.
Self-motivated and responsible, able to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
Willingness to work within a small team, and accept and provide support.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new trends in design software and technology.

Take charge of the required design scheduling, including workflow, output and deadlines.
