Job description

Convergence, the new and emergent digital economy, and the digitization of media have led to an explosion in data sources that can be made actionable for our clients and their brands. Every time a consumer interacts or transacts with an advert, a piece of content, a brand or another consumer data describing the interaction is created.

Managed and activated well, data will drive better consumer insight, better targeting, greater personalization, a better understanding of the effectiveness and ultimately better ROI for the advertiser.

Overall Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all campaigns are consistently delivering the best results possible, by testing new solutions and evaluating results. There is a requirement to develop junior staff and provide input to campaign strategy.

Key accountabilities
  • Provides day to day implementation, optimisation and upload of client campaigns through direct input and supervising junior staff.
  • Liaises with vendors and third party reps to maintain and develop relationships and build knowledge of new features and betas.
  • Interprets performance reports to provide actionable insights and analysis
  • Coaches and develops junior staff, supervising their projects and day to day activities
  • Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly pacing and management of budgets
Professional skills
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Deep knowledge of Search Engines’ platforms and third party tools
  • Knowledge of attribution modelling understanding of all client analytics and tracking technologies

Requirements

Ideal requirements
  • Two to five years of (digital) media agency experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Excel/Word and PowerPoint
  • Relevant qualifications in Google products and social platforms
  • Excellent communication skills and speed of response
  • Speak and write English
  • Comfortable in being client facing
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and communication of work completed/barriers/solution
  • Professional and relationship builders with people
  • Attention to detail (accuracy)
  • Work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Strategic within media and channel thinking (ito rationales)
