Create and maintain custom-developed websites, often using WordPress as a CMS.
Participate in the conceptual phase of projects, defining deliverables and technologies.
Work closely with other teams in the business to implement customer requirements.
A relevant Computer Science/Information Technology or related Degree.
Minimum of six years’ relevant experience.
A strong understanding of – and experience in –
MySQL database design and development.
Developing for WordPress and other CMS platforms.
Implementation, web standards, good coding practices as well as user-oriented/friendly design.
Cross-browser compatibility including Internet Explorer rendering issues and solutions.
Experience leading a digital team.
Passionate about development and willing to make use of other languages/technologies when applicable.
Able to research emerging technologies and identify possible new applications.
Genuine interest in technology.
A love for coding and taking pride in your work.
Able to multitask, work under pressure and in a deadline-driven, demanding environment.
Passion for seeing people grow.
Good communication, people and listening skills.
Able to work as part of a team.
Innovative and able to drive new concepts and ideas.
Good attention to detail.
